No Inventory

Often sellers are advised to wait until spring to list a property. This year is different. There is next to NO inventory in downtown Toronto.

Buyers are ready and waiting, both those that lost out late last year in an extremely competitive fall market and new buyers starting their search in 2014.

List now (preferably with us) and buyers will be lining up (in the snow) to throw piles of money at you. Don’t believe me? Check out these stats for downtown Single Family Freehold Houses (not apartment buildings, condos, commercial buildings etc) listed in 2014.

TREB District C08

TREB C8

There have been ZERO listings in 2014 for Freehold Single Family Residential Homes. Not a single one.

TREB District C01

TREB C1

11 homes listed in 2014 to date. 3 sold over asking. sold under asking. currently holding back for offers. listed with no offer date (one of which was listed a few times last year).

TREB District W01

TREB W1

Only homes listed so far in 2014. sold over asking. currently holding back for offers. listed on Jan 14 with no offer date.

Note this is current as of 10:30 am Friday January 17, 2014 and based on Toronto MLS data.

There is a shortage of inventory all over the city, especially south of Bloor St. If you’d like to sell this year, consider doing it now. Call us. We have an exceptional marketing plan and are ready to go.
