Happy New Year!

Thought I’d share our sofa story with you.

About this time last year, Nick and I were crushing on this beaut of a sofa. Grey with mid-century lines, walnut legs, it was sexy. We were justifying it as a perfect addition to the office as well as if a client needed a staging sofa in a pinch – voila!

And we put it off. Again and again.

Fast forward to January 2017. Our sofa dreams reawaken and lo and behold! They don’t make it anymore. Crushing turned to crushed. Insane amount of time spent looking online for an adequate substitute. Last year, it was a nice to have. Today, it has for become a must have. Only real difference is we can’t have it now.

Sure we can draw some real estate comparisons here and mention stories of clients who waited and their dream place was bought by someone else. But, as I’m always saying, none of our clients are homeless and I know full well there will be another sofa that fits the bill and makes us happy.

What’s the true meaning of the story? We’re getting a sofa for the office. And, that’s just the start of the fun new additions to our office coming this year. Stay tuned and here’s to an exceptional 2017 for all!
