Why we like it
You know how to tell an up-and-coming neighbourhood? When the indie coffee shop opens. Rockcliffe-Smythe has a killer pastry shop that doubles as a cafe and gallery, but the indie coffee shop is yet to come. We think this area is primed for a java infusion. Many of the buyers considering the area are young, practical couples who value backyard barbeques and weekends puttering around the house maintaining the pride of ownership that has come from the generations of working-class owners they are buying from. They still enjoy a good cup of coffee though, and a place to retreat while that coat of paint dries. Remember hearing about what “the neighbourhood” was like when your dad was a boy? This is it.
