In real estate, just like so many times in life, sometimes you just gotta laugh it off.

This week I showed a place that completely missed the mark with its renovations. Odd colours, bizarre finishes, and a ridiculous asking price.

My favourite “update” was the nipple light – you know the ones, they look like this –

mounted right in front of the stove. I’m 5’7” and if I was standing there cooking I could use it to scratch my head while keeping my hands free… that’s an added bonus, right?

There are some real gems in this city, and you can either get frustrated by what people think passes as an upgrade or you can just laugh. We try to see the lighter side. Reminded me of this clip of ridiculous real estate… good for a laugh, whenever you need one.
